Our mission
Family Movement Foundation (FAMOFO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in Virginia, dedicated to improving educational access for children in Gangama Village, Liberia.
We believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty. Through direct giving, school-building support, and educational sponsorships, we work to ensure that every child in Gangama Village has a desk, a book, and a chance at a brighter future.
100% of donations go directly to programs on the ground. We operate with radical transparency and deep community roots.
A message from our founder
I grew up watching children in Gangama Village walk miles to school with nothing in their hands. FAMOFO exists to change that — one child, one classroom, one community at a time.
